I was going to bring this up over at the template discussion page, but given the Mokkin/Xylophone/Marimba confusion (and to lighten the load for later), I figured I'd bring this up here while the Super Mario Bros. Wonder articles are hot. Simply put: I believe cases like this should be exempt from adding the new internal name template. Similar cases off the top of my head would be several Paper Macho enemies and the current hyphenated source for 100-Coin (or this to use an off-wiki example). These names all directly come from the text strings in localization files. To my understanding, Switch games sometimes include reference files for localizers, and if we're lucky, they don't get dummied out. Just look at the counterparts for these files: it's all properly localized in multiple languages and, for all intents and purposes, the final, current names. I know the wording in the template specifies "source", but we have a precedent for this, such as these two Donkey Kong Land enemies and these two Super Mario RPG locations (though we'll see if the remake updates the latter). The source may overall be foreign, but the names themselves are not, so therefore, the templates aren't applied. I think it would be common sense to do the same here, where we can plainly see that the localizations are more or less final, but for whatever reason, gameplay just doesn't refer to those text strings.
