Switch Way? is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. The name is a pun on the term "Which way?"

Introduction[edit]

The camera shows the goal, then pans over to the starting point, where the character is.

Gameplay[edit]

The player attempts to reach the goal by using wide controllable blocks. The direction that they travel in can be changed by either jumping at them from below or ground-pounding them from on top. They can move either horizontally, determined by the side of the block the player is standing on, or vertically. The blocks move when the player stands on them, and they disappear after a few seconds.

In the Shroom City and Mini-Game Attack modes, the player has 99 seconds to reach the goal. Shroom City uses a much smaller course, while Mini-Game Attack uses the same course from Play Land. In Play Land, the course is longer, and the player must reach the goal in the fastest time.
