[edit] Trivia/Notes

  • This is the first instance of Mario being capable of using a gun or any type of weapon obscurely found in children's games. The second was Yoshi's Safari, and the third was the Super Smash Bros. series. This is also the first instance outside the games as well, because Mario uses both a Flame Thrower and a Devo Gun in the Super Mario Bros. movie.
  • Despite there being larger, and more purchasable quantities of this video, the animated movie, The Great Mission to Save Princess Peach is more famous across the internet than the Amada series.
  • Oddly enough, Mario characters sound the same in the Amada as in the anime movie.
  • Princess Peach using a Mallet to make Mario grow to his normal size in "Issunboshi" might have inspired the "Mini-Mario" technique in Mario and Luigi:Superstar Saga, which involves Luigi hitting Mario with a hammer to make him shrink/grow.
  • The concept of Mario attacking Bowser from inside the Koopa King's own stomach probably inspired the boss battle with Prince Froggy in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
