Cotton-Top Cove

Cotton-Top Cove is one of the areas ventured through by Dixie Kong and her cousin Kiddy Kong during the events of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!.

Cotton-Top Cove is rather serene looking, filled with various lakes and waterfalls. The manual for Donkey Kong Country 3 describes Cotton-Top Cove as the Northern Kremisphere's best vacation spot because of the areas beautiful scenery. Due to the large amount of water in the area several of Cotton-Top Cove's areas are located underwater among the fish and coral reefs.

Among the waterfalls of Cotton-Top Cove various critters such as Bristles and Krumples roam. Barrels constantly rain down these waterfalls, where they come from is unknown. Near the waterfalls are various stair-like protrusions in the cliff face, whether these stairs were created or are simply the result of the rock being whethered by water is also unknown. Atop the waterfalls is a large lake and a long boardwalk. Swanky set up tent near the lake.

Blue Bear is located in his beach house near the beginning of the area. Also Cotton-Top Cove's Banana Bird Cave is located fairly close to the area's beginning, to the left of a waterfall.

The boss of Cotton-Top Cove is a bizarre slug-like creature called Squirt, who is located behind a waterfall to the east of the area.
