Alfredo had a very blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo in this game, despite playing such a large role in the story. In this game, Alfredo becomes fed up with his obscurity and decides to frame [[Bowser Jr.]] for framing Mario by defacing all of [[Isle Delfino]]. In this game, he's bluer than ever before.
Another game where Alfredo doesn't directly appear, but this time he actually drives the plot. Bowser Junior tries to frame him, but when the Piantas see the blue Mario ruining their island they think "that's definitely Mario, arrest him at once." So when Junior realized how stupid these guys were he just went with it and said "sure, he's [[Shadow Mario]] now" and any connections to Alfredo were sadly dropped.
 
Alfredo appears like this many more times, but whenever he does, [[Nintendo]] screws up and calls him [[Shadow Mario]] or [[Cosmic Mario]]. So go there for more details.
