Additionally, a Tasty Tonic can be found behind a bush in the southeastern corner of the area west of the oasis in [[Dry Dry Desert (Paper Mario)|Dry Dry Desert]], while another can be found in a crate in the prison under the first [[Guard Door]] room in [[Bowser's Castle]]. They can also be dropped by various enemies, including [[Bandit]]s, [[Pokey]]s, [[Pokey Mummy|Pokey Mummies]], [[Hurt Plant]]s and [[M. Bush]]es.

A Tasty Tonic can be used to remove any [[Poison (status effect)|Poison]] and/or [[Tiny (status effect)|Shrinking]] ailment inflicted upon [[Mario]]. They can be used both inside and outside of battle, though do not have any effect outside of battle as all status ailments disappear at the end of a battle.

The Tasty Tonic reappears in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'' and serves the same purpose. It is sold in the item shop in [[Rogueport]] for three coins. It is also sold on the [[Excess Express]] for three coins.
