:::I tried zooming in to the other one and running an automatic translation to see if anything else came up, but it seems like it's equally vague (if I'm typing it right). My guess is that "Lavabuu" is probably Lava Ghost due to "Buu" being "Boo", but what's the etymology of "Lavallon"? :::I tried zooming in to the other one and running an automatic translation to see if anything else came up, but it seems like it's equally vague (if I'm typing it right). My guess is that "Lavabuu" is probably Lava Ghost due to "Buu" being "Boo", which is how the [https://mariowiki.net/wiki/Lavabuu German wiki] takes it as well, given that they seem more ghost-like than the ordinary Spark Spooks. Would the etymology of "Lavallon" give us another clue (I'm assuming it's the simpler "Lava-balloon")? [[User:LinkTheLefty|LinkTheLefty]] ([[User talk:LinkTheLefty|talk]]) 09:50, June 10, 2022 (EDT)
::::I'm unsure as to what the "-llon" part of "lavallon" comes from honestly. "Balloon" ''could'' be the origin though, given how the book does use English words sometimes (like how "Burner Heiho" is called a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzoHFXHTFO4&t=3m10s Flame Guy]). But what did you make out of the second blurrier bio anyways? {{User:Somethingone/sig}} 11:13, June 10, 2022 (EDT)
:::::I got this out of it: ''Genau wie der Brödelschleim ist mit dem Lavallon nichts zu machen - einfach nur aufweichen!'' (not 100%). I was hoping it'd mention the screech it makes or the angle of its trajectory, but it doesn't look like it. ::::::Okay, so I decided to check the parts of the book where the Lava Ghosts and Spark Spooks are found, but [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzoHFXHTFO4 alas,] I'm not sure if I missed anything but I don't see either name used in the level portions. {{User:Somethingone/sig}} 12:54, June 10, 2022 (EDT)
:::::::Just wanna point out that in most languages, "ballon" and cognates just mean "ball," not the English meaning of "balloon." Lava Bubble is just a ball of lava, so it makes sense as "Lavallon." ::::::::Makes sense. I also just realized something; could Lavabuu's description of "dough slime" refer to the Lava Ghost's longer, drippy body? {{User:Somethingone/sig}} 12:40, July 9, 2022 (EDT)
