In the [[Game Boy Advance]] remake, the Bonus Bonanza retains its main concept, although most of the layout is different. The Bonus Bonanza takes place in two rooms. In the main room, Diddy and Dixie must choose a quiz by walking to its barrel and selecting it. Each barrel displays either 1–3 Banana Coins to visually represent the cost for participating. The Life Balloon reward corresponds to the platform color beneath each barrel (red, green, or blue). By selecting a quiz, Diddy and Dixie jump into the barrel and appear in the game show room.
 
Swanky asks a question on the display, and then the three options are displayed. Three red star-shaped buttons are on the floor, each displaying a letter (A, B, or C) to correspond to the letter choices. To highlight a choice, Diddy and Dixie must walk on a star and jump on it. The floor is glossy and reflective, and a horizontal line of stars is at the bottom.
