The Station Key is a quest item found in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is needed during chapter 6 to open a locked door in Riverside Station. The Station Key can be obtained in a back room that seems to be operating the clock on top of Riverside Station. The player must make use of the cogwheels and machinery in that room to reach a point, where the key can be collected by Koops' Shell Toss or reached with Yoshi's Flutter Jump. Once collected, the Station Key appears in the Special Items section of the Gear menu until it is used.

Trivia
*The second Station Key retrieved in the back room resembles the Castle Keys for Tubba Blubba's Castle from the original Paper Mario. They are both green, topped with a club shape with a hole in the middle, and are found in dilapidated, arid locales.
