*The mustache Toad wears as a part of his sailor disguise continues to disappear and reappear throughout the episode. Additionally, the target emblazoned on the rock where the ''Ding Bell'' is docked continually appears and disappears.

*When the Troopas discover that Mario and Luigi cheated, one of them says "growl" before chastising them. Presumably, the script meant for him to actually growl, and his voice actor read the direction as part of the quote.

**In the same scene, the cards that were previously on the floor are gone.

*When the Troopas start to chase Mario and Luigi, the Koopa with the eye patch's muzzle is the same color as his skin. When he starts to run, his muzzle is back to normal.

*In the scene where Luigi says "''I don't like it; Toad should have been back by now.''" Luigi's mouth jumps to his mustache for one frame.

*When Captain Koopa is looking at Mario, Luigi, and Mark Twang through the telescope, Princess Toadstool's broach was the same color as her dress.

*When Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Toadstool are laughing at King Koopa after he falls into the sand, a mysterious fifth voice can be heard.
