::A lot has written on how crappy Comic Sans is, from its egregious overuse, right down to its general overall design of it. It was originally designed for comical characters in Microsoft programs that spoke in a really out of place Times New Roman font in a speech bubble. Now, because it looks nice and simple, and because people are uneducated in graphic design, people use it recklessly without any regard for any design philosophies whatsoever. Would you decorate your lost dog sign with bright colors and happy objects? No, you wouldn't, and neither should people who use Comic Sans for this type of stuff. | |||
