Nintendo Power has stated that Wario is Mario's cousin{{refneeded}}, but this is unconfirmed. Finally, according to Wario in [[Wario's Warehouse]], both Wario and Waluigi hang out with him, although Mario frequently peeks at Wario's Warehouse.
