| A possible third police also appears in the game, he wears the same kind of blue shirt and looks like the blue police (without glasses) and wears a blue "detective-hat". He can be found near some wanted-posters and later during the game he talks about taking them all down as he think they are not needed anymore.

| Through the D.B.S it might be hinted that there’s more police officers than the two that arrested Mario, some messages talks about police investigations([[Delfino Emergency Broadcast System]])

| But if Mario visits the two police officers they doesn’t do anything except watching Mario, this might prove there’s at least one police investigator.
| |
| The possible police might be an/the police investigator, but there’s also possible that the investigators doesn’t appear in game.
| |
| There’s also a small chance that the [[Pianta Attorney]] are an investigator, as it was he who proved Mario guilty(and therefore maybe was responsible for Mario’s investigation.
