'''Forest Secret Area''' is a secret side-scrolling level in ''[[Super Mario World]]'', accessed through the secondary exit of [[Forest of Illusion 4]]. Completion of the level gains access to [[Forest Fortress]].

The level is a large [[pit]] that can be crossed over by two flying platforms of three [[Rotating Block]]s; jumping on either platform triggers the level to scroll, and both platforms ascend and descend alternately. [[Koopa Paratroopa]]s roam the sky and congregate in flocks, guarding various intermittent power-ups and [[Dragon Coin]]s. About halfway through the ride, the player comes to a small island of blue [[! Block]]s where an [[extra life]] can be earned inside a Rotating Block. Shortly after, just beyond the [[Giant Gate]] rests three [[1-Up Mushroom]]s that can only be reached by flying over the Post with a [[Cape Feather]] or [[Yoshi (species)|Blue Yoshi]].
