 During the events of ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'', [[Mario]] assumes the role of a detective while on the train to discover who stole Chef Shimi's [[Galley Pot|pot of stew]]. Following a trail of spilled stew, Mario discovers the identity of the culprit. The pot of stew was stolen by none other than [[Heff T.]], the obese [[Toad (species)|Toad]]. Mario returns the pot and Chef Shimi rewards the "detective" with a [[Star Piece (Paper Mario)|Star Piece]].
