Bomb Berries resemble yellow-and-red eggplants and are covered in green spikes. Bomb Berries appear only in the [[Jungle Puddle]] stage of the Jungle page. At first, they are invisible, but once the player walks past them, they begin to grow to full size. They will continue to grow until their weight causes them to fall off into the water, where they will slowly sink to the bottom. A new Bomb Berry then grows from the original spot after a while. Getting in contact with a Bomb Berry causes a [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] to make its [[Health Meter|Smile Meter]] lose some petals. Eating it will also cause the Yoshi to lose petals (except for the Black and White Yoshis).
