Replaying this episode will allow Mario to use F.L.U.D.D. and do a [[Red Coin]] challenge. By [[Ground Pound]]ing the [[Red Coin Switch]] in the level, eight Red Coins will appear throughout the course that the player must collect within a time limit of two minutes. Collecting them all will cause a Shine Sprite to appear at the top of the orange cubed structure, but failing to collect the coins within the time limit will result in a life lost. Two of the Red Coins are placed in the blue and black gates the respective spotted cubes move through, with the other six Red Coins being placed within the orange cube structure at the end.
