Rocky-Valley is also the place of Donkey Kong's secret hide-out, the [[Tower (Donkey Kong)|Tower]]. Rocky-Valley features the most difficult puzzle stages of the game, but also requires the player to use [[Mario]]'s moveset to the best of his abilities. There are many places which require strategic thinking and exact knowledge of the game's unusual physics. Rocky-Valley is the longest world in the game, amounting to 16 stages.
