Forest (Donkey Kong Country Returns): Difference between revisions

The '''Forest''' is the fifth world of ''[[Donkey Kong Country Returns]]'' and ''[[Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D]]''. It can be accessed after defeating [[the Mole Train]]. It is located on [[Donkey Kong Island]], and is a very dense Forest with many giant trees. During the events of the game, it is infested by members of the [[Tiki Tak Tribe]], who have stolen [[Donkey Kong]]'s and [[Diddy Kong]]'s [[Banana Hoard]].

Forest is a very dense area. It features new elements not seen in the game's previous worlds, such as vines and moving structures with turf. Some other elements introduced are platforms that fluctuate up and down in a diagonal fashion and pillars that can crush the Kongs, but move very slow. It is also similar to the [[Jungle (Donkey Kong Country Returns)|Jungle]] area as it has many elements from there, such as springy flora and similar enemies.

The enemies in this world, generally, are creatures that can be seen in dense forests, such as [[Skittler]]s and [[Cling Cobra]]s. The enemies tend to be more of a nuisance, and obstacle, than an enemy.
