The '''Mad Adder''' is a giant mechanical snake and [[Domino]]'s pet that lives in [[Smithy]]'s [[Factory (Super Mario RPG)|Factory]] in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]''. The Mad Adder's name is a pun on the name of the Mad Hatter, a character from the book ''{{wp|Alice's Adventures in Wonderland}}''. "{{wp|Adder}}" also refers to any kind of venomous snake.

The Mad Adder's main attack is poisoning [[Mario]] and his [[party member|allies]], and it exclusively uses magic attacks. During the battle with Domino and his partner, [[Cloaker]], if Cloaker is defeated first, Domino retreats and electronically fuses with the Mad Adder.

The Mad Adder is a pink palette swap of [[Bad Adder]], Cloaker's snake, with which it, Cloaker, and Domino share the last part of their Japanese names "link."
