From a sample of a mere 27 games (the ones in [[:Category:Wii U games]]), 21 (± 1) YouTube links in the articles were still written within the articles as http://. If the statistic holds true for the 28,610 pages that are listed on the front page, this would result in Mario Wiki as a whole needing to convert a low-to-medium four-digit amount of links. Manually converting each link on each page would not be realistically possible, unfortunately. | |||

Starting with YouTube links would in theory an easy starting point, as its video IDs have remained unchanged for each video for almost two decades, whereas sites like IGN and Gamespot are much more prone to having old links to them end up on 404 pages. YouTube also has full 100.0% support for HTTPS on all of its pages, while many gaming sites and Nintendo official sites have it depend on their sites' sections.
