In this game, Fluffs release their seeds if Mario (or Luigi) [[dash|runs]] through them, or if the player blows air through the [[Nintendo 3DS]]'s microphone. Some Fluffs release [[coin]]s or [[Super Mushroom]]s when stirred. In [[Mystery Box]]es, they release [[1-Up Mushroom]]s. Fluffs occur throughout the game in courses above ground, starting with [[World 1-1 (Super Mario 3D Land)|World 1-1]]. They can be white or yellow.
