List of blue coins in Super Mario Sunshine</pre>
In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario can obtain blue coins in order to trade ten at at time with the Raccoon in the boathouse in exchange for Shine Sprites. Blue coins can usually be found in out-of-the-way areas; some may be in plain sight, while others must be obtained by spraying certain areas with FLUDD or by defeating certain enemies. There are a total of 240 blue coins in the game.
