'''Birdies''' are red birds (or perhaps creatures in bird costumes) that serve as bodyguards to [[Valentina]] in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]''. However, they seem to have an undying hatred for her, perhaps due to her working them too hard. These creatures appear on the way to [[Nimbus Land]], and inside the palace at Nimbus Land. In battle, they were adept at using [[Grinder (attack)|Grinder]] as an offensive attack and had a high attack stat. They could easily resist fire and [[sleep]] attacks, but were weak against ice attacks. They also have relatives called [[Bluebird]]s who have better magic stats, but lower physical stats as well as reversed strength and weaknesses.
