As its name suggests, Snowflake Mountain is entirely snow-themed. Its courses frozen ponds, giant snowballs, and a single village in one racetrack. The player can enter the world by flying a [[plane]] over a cliff in the snowy region of [[Timber's Island]] hub. The player's racer must have at least two [[Golden Balloon]]s to enter Snowflake Mountain. The world's boss is [[Bluey the Walrus]].

The boss of Snowflake Mountain, [[Bluey the Walrus]], is fought twice in the game. The vehicle used is the hovercraft. The track is snowy and mostly downhill, with tunnels and giant candy canes. Again, there are giant snowballs.  However, in the DS remake they are gone and the race is more difficult. The second time Bluey is fought, he is twice as fast.
