Near the start of the level are a few Bomubomu and a ? Block. Above this, at the top of the map, Mario can find the word "HAPPY" spelled out in stars, which is inaccessible. Further ahead are some coins, two ? Blocks, and a Poro. After a pit of spikes is a block with a 1-Up Heart atop it. Once Mario reaches the smiling planet, he should follow the blocks to find trails of coins directing him to the right. There is a large group of coins below. If Mario keeps following the coins, he finds the secret level exit door. He can enter it to unlock Secret Course 2, or head below the door to find the regular goal.
