[[Cat Banzai Bill]]s now start to spawn from the parallel train, and can be used to destroy some nearby [[Crate]]s. If the player times some jumps on the [[Cat Bullet Bill]]s with a [[Tanooki Suit]], the player can reach a segment of the train with eight crates. Seven of the crates contain single [[coin]]s, but one contains a [[1-Up Mushroom]]. Two [[Fire Bro]]s. appear soon after followed by a nearby [[Warp Pipe]] which leads to the boss of the level, [[Pom Pom]].
