Very similar to the first level; outside exploration is first, followed by an underground cavern. There is also an additional cavern where an extra life can be gained. In the first cavern, the player can get a [[Magic Potion]]. After the cavern there are six [[jar]]s. Five of them are filled with red turtle shells and the other jar has a [[Small Heart]] and a [[POW Block|POW]]. Then there is a large pit filled with [[Shy Guy]]s. After going down the large pit there is a door that leads to [[Birdo|Red Birdo]], who shoots both [[fireball]]s and [[Birdo Egg|egg]]s. This is the first time Birdo can do that (although [[Mushroom Block]]s can be used instead to battle her here).

*The first egg is on the right side of the wall that can crumble where the heart is. The player has to get the Magic Potion on the other side of the wall.

*The second egg is at the top of the pit. The player has to get the Magic Potion by going down the pit to the left side of the spilt next to the jar.
