::I'm pretty sure it's the latter. There's a chance that they were used in older Shogakukan guides or elsewhere (I only have Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros. for these games), but that's unlikely. The <tt>glossary.msbt</tt> files in The Origami King and Link's Awakening also contain entries that for whatever reason never got used, but again, nothing particularly seems "early" there compared to the Galaxy games' <tt>ObjNameTable</tt>, which looks more like a reference file for developers rather than localizers. ==This Edit Summary==
I see that you're trying to start a discussion, but please remember that there is no need to put in edit summaries like this. Also note that you have been reminded and warned for improper and rude edit summaries in the past. I'm not trying to discourage you from editing, I just want you to know that some of your edit summaries could be more courteous. ==RE: Spinning block==
Good evening!
Quotes from Prima Games:
"This dreamy floating platform challenge spaces out lots of spinning blocks along the path to the exit. The blocks don't spin continuously..."
"...timing forward jumps onto new blocks to occur just as the blocks rotate."
"Inside the room of rotating blocks..."

ReRe:Yoshi's Story
Hey, so in regards to the bumblebee and generic bee - no, I don't believe so, but the bumblebee is a scaled-down version of the regular bee (though personally it would've made more sense if it was the other way around). You can try asking Doc if that was the rationale behind it. Killer bees seem to be in a similar boat and I've put them down as relatives instead of variants. I'm not really sure about the Lava Ghost either - I did remove the Ghosts category from F Boy because a source states that it's literally a Fire kid instead of a hitodama, but in this case there's not much else to state otherwise. Maybe bring it up on the talk page? LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:02, August 13, 2022 (EDT)
:Wait, the bumblebee is a downscaled version of the regular bee...? Aren't the regular bees in Yoshi's Story just a 2x2 px white square? 13:19, August 13, 2022 (EDT)

Undoing edits
Next time please look at the anon's edits closely (including the grammar) and check with policy before undoing my edits. I've been dealing with these edits longer than you have, and at this point it's much faster when I Wikipedia:Rollback the edits (which bypasses the summary function) when they're usually self-explanatory or they're the same errors that have been reverted on other pages before, and leaving them summaries is pretty much futile at this point. I know what I'm doing and I'm not reverting these edits willy-nilly and for no reason, and it's bothersome that you continuously revert them back saying there's nothing wrong with it and forcing another edit to the page having to explain it. If one of the edits really is valid enough to be kept on the page, then let me know. 11:49, September 27, 2022 (EDT)
Coloration vs. Color variations
I appreciate you correcting me on those sections. But I feel like even coloration sounds a bit inaccurate too because it sounds like it implies that these are alternate colorations/costumes (which is true in some games by the way, even outside of Smash technically). While color variation refers to the species having different colors for each of the individual species. Even if say Toad and Yoshi are the characters of a standard Red and Green species respectively they are still technically the most common colorations in most games they appear in even if they aren't those named characters in games, even in Mario Baseball games the base Red vested Toads are the standard Red Toads for example. --KingGeoshiKoopshi64 (talk) 19:45, November 24, 2022 (EST)
:I guess that makes sense then. Feel free to revert my edits regarding the coloration/color variation thing. 19:51, November 24, 2022 (EST)
Smash proposal
This isn't really an attempt to sway you back into supporting the proposal, but I just want to let you know I was already planning a second proposal to implement WT's suggestion, so the bad precedent wouldn't there to stay. The only setback to that is the 4 weeks time in-between the attempts. 17:03, January 30, 2023 (EST)
<s>:Look I am sorry but I can't see my original support vote as anything more than a manic outburst as a reaction to the Smash-coverage inconsistency, and my recent oppose vote as anything more than me freaking out over a point I didn't address. It reminded me of when I made that strawman rant on the Legend of Zelda series page proposal a few months back. If people wish to use my support arguments they still can but I feel like it's best if I just abstain for now. 17:10, January 30, 2023 (EST)</s>
:...Why was I so upset about this, again? I don't know, and it made no sense. I'll support again.
non parlo italiano
"a lot of the foreign name explanations on this wiki use quotes instead of italics for explanations" Then they should be corrected to MLA, as I do whenever I encounter such instances. This isn't written in stone. "there's a lot of failed proposals regarding the conversion of this wiki to be MLA." Besides the ship one (which I would still support), I'm not aware of others. My stance is that, since the wiki has been applying MLA guidelines for a long while, it should keep doing so across the board and not pick and choose arbitrarily (e.g. "this and this manual/whatever other source doesn't italicise this word that would be italicised under MLA, so the wiki shouldn't either"). 11:12, February 14, 2023 (EST)
RE: Piranha Plant Slide music
Hello there. At times I race on 3DS Piranha Plant Slide R and R/T in the tours the course appears in, I always tend to skip at the first part of the course intro overview (in which it overlooks the underwater section). Most of the time, I hear the instruments for the underwater music before entering the underwater section. It's true a lot of videos did not skip the course intro, but I did found ONE video that skips the course intro. 22:05, March 19, 2023 (EDT)
:I can hear the auto-tuney difference between that video's starting music and any other 3ds PPS MKT video's starting music. Thank you! 22:35, March 19, 2023 (EDT)

Last warning
lastwarn
Please review MarioWiki:Vandalism#Dealing_with_a_vandal. Do not interact with vandals in edit summaries. Instead, please revert and report to the staff; if you cannot, then ignore. You have been warned already for this, so you have received a last warning. 22:58, April 20, 2023 (EDT)
:Honestly, I really don't think that edit summary is worthy of a last warning, especially after that user posting here about it. I've even seen Mario jc leave summaries like that before. 03:21, April 21, 2023 (EDT)

Reverted?
Hey, uh, why did you revert my edit just then? I'm not upset, exactly, but I am confused, "...?" isn't the most helpful of edit summaries. Blinker (talk) 16:03, November 21, 2023 (EST)
:You didn't remove "The Vinery", you removed "The Trial Course". I didn't know how else to put it - sorry if it was vague. 16:04, November 21, 2023 (EST)
::Oh, oops, my mistake. Because what I typed in the edit summary applies to both, and I had the Vinery on my mind, I guess I wrote the wrong location in the edit summary. Sorry about that. Blinker (talk) 16:29, November 21, 2023 (EST)
