The '''Gondolier''' is a [[Venice|Venetian]] pizza-delivery man who appears in ''[[The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3]]'' episode "[[The Venice Menace]]".


At the start of the episode, the Gondolier arrives in [[Desert Land]] via a warp pipe, and lands infront of [[Mario]] and his friends. He explains to them that everyone was fleeing Venice, due to the fact that it was under attack by a sea monster. Mario, feeling an unexplainable attachment to Venice, recuits [[Luigi]], and the two plumbers head off to deal with the monster, which turns out to be the [[Doomsub]].
