There has been some on-going talks at User talk:Wildgoosespeeder/QualityRequestTypes/sandbox. Haven't heard a thing from you (I don't know if are aware of that page). Seems like a few, like me, RAP (on his talk page), and Bazooka Mario), are gravitating towards the native resolution for N64 games because it most accurately depicts the games. HUD elements tend to be pixelated in higher resolutions or filtered (in an ugly way or smoothing out jaggedness filters). Some of the images I am replacing even have emulation mistakes or effects that a real N64 couldn't do (aside from oversized resolutions). The plug-in I use to generate the screenshots is the closest to real hardware that bypasses the conversion from a digital signal (internal resolution) to analog (composite video out). If it makes you feel any better, I haven't touched certain images, such as :File:Koopa Bros. Fortress.png and :File:Goomba Village.PNG. -- 19:53, 17 April 2016 (EDT)

Hey Mega, it's Baby Luigi again. Can you, by any chance, add alignment parameters to the image map template as switchers? Because for this section in this article, aligning this map template to the center is a better way to display the map than the default alignment it has, as it mucks up the gallery, but since the template itself lacks any switchers, I had to resort to using raw coding and modifying the parameters within it so that it centers. 12:08, 9 May 2016 (EDT)

:Oh, thanks a bunch for the implementation. If I had time I'd put it in the other image map pages too but you know, none of us have any :( 15:04, 10 May 2016 (EDT)

:Like I said, not as concerned with aboutfile as I am with image-quality. Maybe modifying MediaWiki:Uploadtext is better. I mean, just found :Category:Images by game. Probably easy to just link to there but the problem that remains is having the message stand out.

:I think the underlying problem with image-quality is the crowding of :Category:Quality requested is currently experiencing. That seems to be why Baby Luigi and Bazooka Mario tend to remove the tag without satisfying the condition for removal. That's what the discussions at User talk:Wildgoosespeeder/QualityRequestTypes/sandbox are all about. I mean if we can have construction, rewrite, rewrite-expand, and stub all dealing with degree of severity of good writing standards missing in articles, I don't see why not try to split up image-quality into smaller, more manageable groups. The trick is figuring out how to split it up. -- 15:44, 14 May 2016 (EDT)

:Thanks! By the way, it seems that tattles in the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door bestiary are incomplete -- they lack the part that looks like "Their maximum HP is 2. They have an Attack power of 1 and a Defense of 0." I'm also discussing the possibility to include more info into the "item" entry at MarioWiki:Proposals. Any thoughts? --   10:04, 10 August 2016 (EDT)

::I found some better sources and updated all of the wiki's PMTTYD tattles according to them, except the Glitz Pit fighter team pages which I didn't touch. I'm not sure whether restating the stats of the individual enemies on Glitz Pit fighter team pages run afoul of MW:ONCE. By the way, somehow Fuzzy Horde is missing in the bestiary since it doesn't have an entry in the in-game tattle log.   05:41, 18 August 2016 (EDT)

Hi
Hey. Just want to introduce myself and say a few things...I'm from Morocco, I speak, understand and write very perfect English, and I also like Nintendo games. Besides the Mario franchise, of course, I like Sonic, Pokémon, Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and to a lesser extent Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong (which I would say I'm a fan of both Kongs and Kremlings) and Mario Party. I actually own several old consoles, including the NES, SNES, Game Boy, N64, GameCube, DS Lite, DSi XL, Dreamcast, PSone (the smaller model), and PS2. I also own a Wii, a Wii U, a Switch, a New 3DS XL and a New 2DS XL. I used to own a Game Boy Color, a Game Boy Advance, the original PlayStation, and two Sega Mega Drives, but those either got lost or, in the case of the Game Boy Color, broken.
Also, I found your Codeforces account page. Now, I've known for a long time that you're Egyptian, but there I specifically heard that you're from Helwan. I also found a photo of yourself as far as I can tell, but no problem I suppose.
I want to explain a few questions:
# What does it feel like living in your town?
# How do you feel about your current gist of playing games on emulators rather than on actual hardware?
# I've heard that your President Sisi has been extending and imposing states of emergency since the Coptic church terrorist attacks in April 2017 (God bless the victims and their families). How do you feel about it?
# What do you think about my country's culture? What about yours?
One more thing, I would like to point out that your Mii avatar on your user page infobox is broken and doesn't display correctly, so there's that.<br>Anyways, bye for now.

:Hello Meerkat Mario, first of all, how are you? It's nice to meet a fellow Arabian! We share the love of all of those franchises except definitely Pokemon :P I don't have a problem with my photo being available online as I already have a facebook account that is not that hard to find and my photo is also there. Yeah, I have joined the competitive programming scene a little bit after I got into college, I'm not that good yet, but hey, I'm slowly lerning more. To answer your queations:
:#I live in 15th of May city which is on the outskirts of Helwan, it's a very calm place which is something I need for my work and studies, and for my personal comfort. It's nothing like any other city in the country. To put that into prespective, if you sit out all day and count the number of people passing by in the street, they won't exceed 40 or 50 all day long.
:#Annoyed, it's sad that I can't support the developers for the games that I really like. But what can you do. The price of one of those consoles can exceed the average income of someone here.
:#The state of emergency has been technically active since almost 2011. It doesn't affect me, personally. But I would rather keep my general opinion regarding everything political to myself, sorry.
:#I like your culture quite a bit. I like the clothing and the building style, but I'm not too familar with the details to give out and extended opinion. As for my culture, if you are talking about pharaohs, they who doesn't :P. If you are talking about the current culture, It's hard to pinpoint the details of it because I live too far away, but I like what I live in.
:Yeah, I noticed, to be frank I never liked miis :P. The image on top of my talkpage is also broken. I'm a bit sad because I liked the brawl logo, but I'm too lazy to fix it. Talk with you later -- 03:40, 13 July 2018 (EDT)
Turtley Leaf
Hi, here you said that Turtley Leaves aren't in PM....except they are, just under a different English name. I don't know if the recipe is the same, but still. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:41, September 5, 2019 (EDT)
:Oh right, I didn't notice that they have the same article. But for starters, the table was incorrect in the beginning. According to this; It erroneously listed some recipes as TTYD exclusive, and Turtley/Koopa Leaf is not used in the recipe in PM, so I would say the page is currently accurate. Sorry for the late response btw-- 17:30, September 12, 2019 (EDT)
