3DS Rosalina's Ice World: Difference between revisions

Rosalina's Ice World makes its classic course debut in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', starting with the [[Rosalina Tour]]. Like all other courses, Rosalina's Ice World has a reverse variant referred to as '''Rosalina's Ice World R''', a trick variant known as '''Rosalina's Ice World T''', and a reverse and trick variant known as '''Rosalina's Ice World R/T''', which debuted in the [[Space Tour (2021)|2021 Space Tour]]. [[Penguin]]s now appear on top of the ice during the first lap, and move underwater for the second lap. It retains most of its appearance from ''Mario Kart 7'', though with a few minor differences. Most notably, the planet seen in some areas is now a 3D model that is loosely based on the starting planet from [[Gateway Galaxy]]. Trees were added to the background in spots, and the arrow signs in the first section are removed. In the reverse variant of this course, a [[Glide Ramp]] was added to the exit of the icy cavern with icicles. In the reverse and trick variant, this Glide Ramp is lowered down on lap 1. It is a favorite of [[Princess Peach|Peach (Explorer)]], [[Fire Mario|Fire Rosalina]], [[Tanooki Mario|Tanooki Rosalina]], [[Penguin Mario|Penguin Toadette]], [[Cat Mario|Cat Rosalina]], [[Nabbit]], [[King Bob-omb]], [[Shy Guy|Shy Guy (Gold)]], [[Lakitu (Mario Kart referee)|Lakitu (Party Time)]], and [[Birdo|Birdo (Black)]]. It is also a favorite of [[Rosalina|Rosalina (Volendam)]] if she reaches level 3, [[Penguin Mario|Penguin Toad]] if he reaches level 6, and [[Mario|Mario (Santa)]] if he reaches level 8.
