While Coconut Mall appeared on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe before it did on Mario Kart Tour, I think it is the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version that is based on the Mario Kart Tour version (as it uses a modified version of Tour's model, and one of this course's map objects was found on a datamine dating back to August 2021, suggesting that the course's aforementioned model was probably already in Tour's files by then) and not the other way around. I thought that detail should be taken into account, given that all Wave 1 courses from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's DLC use Mario Kart Tour's models instead of creating new models in the base game's art style. | |||

I personally have to agree with SuperJuancho64 on this one. We're already making a speculative statement by assuming this DLC confirms that Shroom Ridge will be in Tour, despite the fact that we're running off of a datamined image from Deluxe.
