Coconut Mall or Coconut's Mall? Time Questions 14:49, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

Anyone? The template says "Coconut's Mall", but the article is called Coconut Mall. Time Questions 01:34, 17 April 2008 (EDT)

It is called Coconut Mall.Knife (talk) 15:05, 11 May 2008 (EDT)

Isle Delfino[edit]

Just to be certain, is it more likely than not it takes place in Isle Delfino? I would assume yes, but you never know.

This isn't fair[edit]

Why are my edits getting reverted? The one I done was better than the old, which was poorly written. APA TKB Umbreon, from Pokémon. 18:14, 11 May 2013 (EDT)

Uhh! I hate this! --APA TKB Umbreon, from Pokémon. 18:17, 11 May 2013 (EDT)

You were editwarring thats why. --Nintendo 64 logodude 18:18, 11 May 2013 (EDT)

Edit-warring? That wasn't even doing that.. --APA TKB Umbreon, from Pokémon. 18:18, 11 May 2013 (EDT)
Paragoomba, calm down. Parts of the section were poorly written, and while your attempt to fix it is appreciated, your changes made the section unnecessarily wordy, and some changes were grammatically incorrect, so I retained the portions of the original section which had no problems and revised the rest in order to convey what you had in fewer words. I wasn't getting angry, and N64Dude's reason was typically pointless, and I didn't write it so poorly, the actual section was stupid. Seriously! What were you guys even thinking!!!?!? --APA TKB Umbreon, from Pokémon. 17:31, 12 July 2013 (EDT)

Club Penguin and Mario Kart Wii[edit]

I just noticed, doesn't the Coconut Mall seem to be a remix of the Club Penguin Puffle Party song? Zombie ShroomPokebubZombie Shroom

btw, Puffle Party song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcH2H6BtbRw Zombie ShroomPokebubZombie Shroom

Since Mario Kart Wii came out before the first Puffle Party, it would have, if anything, copied Coconut Mall. But since it has nothing to do with the Mario series, really, it is not important to mention. MarioComix (talk) 19:18, 31 October 2013 (EDT)

Mario Kart 7[edit]

Can you add more pictures of Wii Coconut Mall in MK7?

Suggestion[edit]

While Coconut Mall appeared on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe before it did on Mario Kart Tour, I think it is the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version that is based on the Mario Kart Tour version (as it uses a modified version of Tour's model, and one of this course's map objects was found on a datamine dating back to August 2021, suggesting that the course's aforementioned model was probably already in Tour's files by then) and not the other way around. I thought that detail should be taken into account, given that all Wave 1 courses from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's DLC use Mario Kart Tour's models instead of creating new models in the base game's art style.

Here's proof of the datamine that I'm talking about: https://twitter.com/kart_tour/status/1422135456230264840?lang=es

Not necessarily. Collab between two teams happens, and changes happen throughout development. We could say that they're based on each other I suppose, and additionally point out that texture work on the course appears to be taking the general artstyle of Tour but making a definitive statement is still speculation. It's clearly on the datamines. Coconut Mall was on Mario Kart Tour's files since last year, while the Booster Course Pass was announced this year, so I'm sure Mario Kart 8 Deluxe took Tour's model, not the other way around, even though the course was released on 8 Deluxe first.--SuperJuancho64 (talk) 10:24, May 11, 2022 (EDT)

I personally have to agree with SuperJuancho64 on this one. We're already making a speculative statement by assuming this DLC confirms that Shroom Ridge will be in Tour, despite the fact that we're running off of a datamined image from Deluxe. I think it's more correct to say that the Deluxe version is based on the Tour version, despite appearing beforehand. Sprite of Yoshi's stock icon from Super Smash Bros.
