We don't need sections either. You can't compare this to Koopalings or Star Spirits because they all have official names, a different role in the story, different abilities, and unique personalities. These enemies aren't even officially named individually and they don't have any characteristics separating each other besides their appearances. I don't think creating a new collective article is a good idea either since the only thing separating these Tikis from the rest of them is that they possess enemies rather than fight themselves. Not to mention that the collective article would have to be conjectural as well.--Knife 23:49, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Knife on this. 23:54, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
:I see now. In that case, no article.
Well, if they went through all that trouble to name all the other enemies and bosses but not these guys, then that's Retro's own fault. BooDestroyer 02:18, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
In Thugly's trophy description in Super Smash Bros 4, the World 6 tiki is named Xylobone. Does this count for anything? Phineas81707 (talk) 07:45, 3 December 2014 (EST)
:Also, Mole Miner Max calls the World 4 tiki Banjo Bottom. Phineas81707 (talk) 23:34, 6 December 2014 (EST)
Setting the record straight
So not long ago, I've gone and hit up Prima over Facebook about the names of those other Tiki leaders. I told them already about Kalimba Tiki, Gong Tiki, Banjo Tiki, and Xylophone Tiki.
Then they filled me in on those last three: Maraca Bros. (apparently), Panflute Tiki, and Accordion Tiki.
So there it is. This is as official as it gets. Straight from the people who were supposed to be responsible for this.
And for extra measure, I picked up on their Japanese names from several Japanese outlets for info on the game:
In order, they are as follows:
# カディリー (Kadiri)
# マラ (Mara), カッキー (Kaki), ラスキー (Raski)
# ゴングオー (Gong-Oh)
# ボンジョ (Bonjo?)
# ワッキーパイプ (Wacky Pipe)
# ザイロボーン (Xylobone)
# ディオン (Dion)
Interesting...

:is the facebook interraction availabl publically? If so, the direct link can be used as source on the article proper. If not, you could post a screencap or transcript of it on this talk. --Glowsquid (talk) 15:38, 9 November 2017 (EST)

::::: But even ゴングオー, ボンジョ, and ザイロボーン are retained in the Japanese version of Smash for Wii U. That wasn't the only place to look for them. BooDestroyer (talk) 18:33, 9 November 2017 (EST)
Hang on, I think we just got a lead here
From a much more reliable source than any of those publishers: the game's internal data itself.

Split high-ranking minions into their own articles
Is there any particular reason why they don't have their own articles? They seem pretty significant to me at least, especially the first one. 19:34, February 6, 2021 (EST)
