This should be merged to New Super Mario Bros. U
This mode can easily be integrated into that article. It's a pretty fundamental feature of that game, even, so I don't see why this information needs to be allocated to another article. Usually, when modes have their own article, it's because they come with all sorts of their own content (I'd argue that Smash Run deserves its own article because it has its own enemies, own power-ups, own mechanics, events, all sorts of that stuff). Battle Mode is its own article for the same reasons, and there are many other examples I can list. This mode doesn't. It's just a gameplay feature exclusive to the Gamepad. I'm not sure about Boost Rush mode, since it does have comparisons to the Coin Rush mode, but it also has a lot less content exclusive to it, being only the courses, which also can fit in the main New Super Mario Bros. U article.
Hell, why are *all* New Super Mario Bros. U modes chopped up to pieces? No other article I know of does this. Challenge Mode can be better organized so it doesn't seem as long (also, New Super Mario Bros.'s Challenge Mode article doesn't deserve to be its own thing, I just noticed it). Coin Battle's New Super Mario Bros. U information should be in this article (and possibly have its New Super Mario Bros. Wii information put on its respective article) 14:09, 19 May 2017 (EDT)
:It's been a very long time since this was first brought up but I don't think it needs to be merged, there's enough content here that I think it would feel too crammed into the NSMBU page. -- 20:40, January 17, 2022 (EST)
partially false
"Boost Mode is not available in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe due to being incompatible with the Nintendo Switch's controls." While the first part is true, it technically wouldn't be incompatible with the Nintendo Switch's controls. The Nintendo Switch has touchscreen functionality, as seen in Super Mario Maker 2.
