+i was playing super mario galaxy 2, and Gobblegut kinda looks like Bowsers pet, so is it the same creature? Correct me if im wrong... And if they are the same, you should put that in bowser Jrs, Gobbleguts, and bowsers pet trivia.

For reference, the similar-looking "Ghost Stream" enemy from Torrential Maze is known as 「ドカンオバケ」 (''Dokan Obake'', Pipe Ghost) in pages 47 and 49 of the Shogakukan guide, indicating they're related. Caged Ghost looks more like Jelly Ghost than Ghost Stream, though Ghost Stream uses a Boo's laugh when it passes through, unlike Jelly Ghost.
