During this level, the Kongs are challenged to advance from platform to platform without touching down the floor or ceiling, as they are covered in spikes. Many platforms are coated with ice, creating difficulties in traction, and are either presented as pendulums swinging from one side to another, or as stone structures connected to a long massive wall that is moved up and down on rails. The Kongs could slip off these platforms and fall onto the spikes on the floor, or be pushed against the spikes on the ceiling by moving structures. Additionally, rails conducting spiky, electrical orbs are sometimes encountered along the way, especially at the beginning of the stage.
