It attacks by shooting gem-like beams when [[Bomberman]] or [[Wario]] are directing near Pukupuku. In order to defeat it, Bomberman or Wario must lay [[bomb (item)|bomb]]s down and have Pukupuku close to the blast. After each two hits, Pukupuku's bump begins to grow. Once Pukupuku is defeated, the protagonist can move on to the next stage.
