Water Ski Spree

Introduction

Four Shy Guys drive motor boats, and each player is behind one on water skis. A Shy Guy throws a Spiny behind it, and the first player dodges it. The screen then splits into four sections, and the minigame begins.

Gameplay

The objective is to get the most coins by the end. There are coins on the ramps, and the player must move left and right by turning his or her Wii Remote. Sometimes there is a ramp on each side, and there is a coin on only one of them. The Shy Guy piloting the boat will sometimes throw Spiny Eggs back that will stun the player and render him or her temporarily unable to move. There is no winner, as this is a Coin Collecting minigame, unless no coins are collected. The maximum coins possible in this minigame is 17.

Ending

The ending for this minigame

The four players are all hooked on to the same boat, and they are all waving their hands in the air. If a player does not collect any coins, he or she does a losing pose instead. However, if no one collects coins, the four players stay hooked on their same boat while the screen stays split as they do their losing poses.

• The rules and hint of the minigame imply the Shy Guy throws coins. However, coins are found only on ramps. Also, Spiny Eggs are not mentioned at all.
