The Choicest Voice

Template:Minigame-infobox The Choicest Voice is an Extra minigame that appears in Mario Party: Island Tour (Known as Soundalike Star Show in PAL regions). The name of the minigame is based on the popular NBC program The Voice.

Gameplay

In this minigame, the players use the microphone to imitate the character's voice. After that, the characters are judged by a Goomba, a Koopa Troopa, Shy Guy, Birdo, and Dry Bones. If a judge likes it, the character received ten points for each sign held. In Solo mode, the character needs ninety points or more to win within three rounds. Something similar happens in Bowser's Peculiar Peak, where if the player steps on a Bowser Space, and the player spins "imitate Bowser's voice", the player needs to imitate what Bowser says.

Marketing

On November 23, 2013, Jennette McCurdy was seen imitating the voices of the Super Mario characters in The Choicest Voice with an imitations specialist.
