- Nintendo has announced Super Mario Collection Special Pack for the Wii. It includes a Mario history booklet and CD soundtrack. It is scheduled for release in Japan on October 21, 2010.
- Nintendo announced to reduce the price of the Nintendo DSi (pictured) and the Nintendo DSi XL in the United States to $150 and $170 respectively as of September 12, 2010.
- Nintendo announced that they purchased some of the key developers of the Mario Party series from Hudson Soft, and purchased the Japanese game company Nd Cube.
