This template establishes a consistent format for displaying a subject's appearances under the "List of appearances" section on their page.
It may not be recommended to use this on pages covering something that has made many appearances, such as Mario, since more earlier appearances of him tend be discovered over time, and this would require manually incrementing many numbered parameters by one, starting from the chronological appearance number of the newly added media.
Usage
The syntax is as follows:

|title1=
|role1=
|release1=
|format1=
}}
This works for any amount of numbered title/description/release/format parameters.
