"Appearances in Mario Games"

What's up with that section? It doesn't even describe Tetriminos at all, it just mentions Mario stuff that appears in Tetris games.--vellidragon 21:59, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

I don't know, it was the best way I found to make that section. The section is more of an explanation on how Tetris relates to Mario, and as I was writing it I did realize it felt more like I was writing a "Tetris (series)" article. :/ I'm not sure how else to word it though. Deletion

This article hardly relevant to the Mario series. We have an article on the game because of its many Mario cameo, but this is just an article relating to the Tetris series, not the Mario series.--Knife (talk) 04:07, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

No. I still think this is related. Delete or. Uh. - Billtn 17:40, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

I hope you don't mind, but I merged your section into this one seeing as it was redundant. Anyway, this article has very little relevance to the Mario series. Donkey Kong was a boss in the new Punch Out game for Wii, yet we don't have articles on all of the boxers from that game. As far as I know, a Mario character isn't even playable in the Tetris games (exception being Tetris Attack which isn't a true Tetris game to begin with), so creating an article about an object from the Tetris series is stretching our coverage way too far.--Knife (talk) 20:05, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

So is anyone strongly opposed at all to the deletion of this article?--Knife (talk) 17:30, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

If we are to consider Tetris DS (seeing as how we have an article for it) a Mario/cross-over game, similar to Smash Bros., it receives as much of an article as Snake, Pit or anyone of the SSB characters. It's a major part to the game after all. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·

Fair enough, but is it really called Tetrimino in Tetris Attack? We should name it whatever it is called in that game. Also, the article hardly mentions the Mario series at all. Appearances in the Mario series section has very little to do with the object itself.--Knife (talk) 20:09, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Hope I fixed that. As for the name, every Tetris game refers them to as "Tetrimino" including the Wikipedia article for Tetris DS. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·
