Huh? He doesn't use the same tactics as Bowser. You may be thinking about False Bowser, real Bowser, and Dry Bowser's tail attack. You were probably were Tanooki Mario/Luigi and happened to swing your tail. As stated in the above section, '''Cosmic Clones copy your every movement like they did in SMG2.''' Problem is, you cannot defeat him. Sure, he disappears once you reach a certain spot. But, get out of that spot, and he reappears. With that, I think it should '''not''' be considered a boss.

Rayman 1

The cosmic clone is almost identical from Dark Rayman in Rayman 1, he follows your steps just like him, and he's a dark version of the character too. Can this be a reference? ~Rsandee

Hey, does anyone notice when a Cosmic Clone long jumps they say CAFFINE! Petey Piranha in Mario & Luigi: Partners in TimeGalacticPeteyPetey Piranha in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

Yeah, i noticed. But do cosmic clones look like luigi too or do they only look like mario? because when i was playing as luigi the cosmic clones still looked liked mario.Y0SHI3gg 00:53, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Cosmic Clones only look like Mario. I've played the game and it showed a fat plumber chasing after me as Luigi. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)
So the article should say that they are shadowy duplicates of Mario not Mario and Luigi or this could be something mentioned in a trivia or something. Y0SHI3gg 01:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Hey, sorry to get off topic, but does anyone think that the guy you can race in the origanal mario galxy, when there is a spsific comet, is look alot like a cosmic clone?

Cosmic Mario is very similar to a Cosmic CLone, but he is not a Cosmic Clone.--Holyromanemperortatan 12:37, 21 February 2011 (EST)

What is Cosmic Mario?I've only heard of Cosmic Clones--Peanutbutter-girl 22:08, 16 March 2011 (EDT)peanutbutter-girl

Cosmic Mario is a character which challenges Mario in certain galaxies with the Cosmic Comet. Its form is the same as Mario, without mustache and eyes. His outer appearance is blue, with stars, making it look like it is made of cosmic matter. Voice is slightly pitched up. The player mus get to the Power Star before Cosmic Mario in order to win.--Danimario9 15:20, 3 January 2012 (EDT)

Trivia

-After trying out SM3DL, I noticed that the Cosmic Clone in Special 1-2 somewhat resembles false copies of characters in SSBB SE ( Dark particles following, purple/colour palette). Should this be mentioned? Trivia boy 19:28, 7 December 2011 (EST)

No. It's probably a coincidence. Mario4Ever (talk)

Cosmic Mario?

The article says that the Cosmic Clones of Super Mario 3D Land "seem to conduct the same tactics as Cosmic Mario." I disagree because the Cosmic Clone copies your every movement(like in Super Mario Galaxy 2), it doesn't race you like Cosmic Mario did (it even copies Tanooki Mario/Luigi's floating and tail-swinging). It also cannot be jumped on, also unlike Cosmic Mario who can be jumped on safely. Those are my reasons to disagree, and I think the article should be fixed. -'Shroom64: The Mushroomeditor

Boss

About the boss thing, yes, he IS the only enemy in S7-Castle. Problem is, you cannot defeat him. Sure, he disappears once you reach a certain spot. But, get out of that spot, and he reappears. With that, I think it should not be considered a boss.
