Super Acorn

The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

The Acorn Mushroom is a power-up in the upcoming title New Super Mario Bros. U. The Mushroom resembles an acorn with red and yellow stripes on top and a red face with eyes on the bottom. It transforms anybody who touches it into Flying Squirrel Mario. When Mario (and co) becomes Flying Squirrel Mario, he gets red puffy overalls, grayish shirt and shoes, a big red cap with two squirrel ears on it and a beige brim. On the back he gets a pair of grey membranes and a tail. He also gets the ability to lightly glide in a similar way to the Raccoon Mario or Cape Mario, cling to walls and air jump while gliding.
