The Striker Cup is the final tournament in the Wii game, Mario Strikers Charged. It is the hardest tournament in the game, surpassing both the Fire Cup and Crystal Cup, in difficulty. The player enters this tournament after he/she beats the Crystal Cup's champion. In the preliminaries, the player has to challenge nine different opponents, each one a different captain than the last. The player has to get into the Top 8 out of 10 to move on, based on points (3 for each win, 0 for each loss, 1 for each sudden-death loss). Each challenger is randomized, so the player does not know who his next opponent will be. After the player has surpassed all nine preliminary rounds, he/she makes it to the finals, which consists of three challengers. #1 plays #8, #2 plays #7, #3 plays #6, and #4 plays #5 in the quarterfinals, the top seed of the four winners plays the low seed and the middle two play each other in the semi-finals, and those two winners play in the finals – the player must start all over if any of these three matches are lost, even in sudden death. However, if the player wins all three finals matches, he/she moves onto the Championship Round. The current Champion on the players first time in the tournament, will be Petey Piranha. However, after he/she beats Petey, when they go back to the Striker Cup afterwards, the Champion will be randomized, instead of just being Petey all the time. The player must beat the Champion and his/her team on the Stormship Stadium, in a game of three series. If the player wins two of these series, he/she will win the game, and the tournament, but if the Champion wins two series, he/she wins the tournament, and continues as the Champion. The player must start over from the beginning of the Striker Cup, if this happens. There is no other tournament after this cup.
