Spinwheel Cog Ruins is the tenth course in Episode 2 of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name.
Layout
The level is set inside a desert with several Spinwheels that rotate the large cogs located at parts of the stage to act as platforms. Toadette starts on a raised platform with two Spinwheels and a Walleye in between; one spinwheel controls each set of cogs, which the player must manipulate by either rotating the joystick or spinning them on the Wii U GamePad, 3DS, and Switch's touchscreen in order to reach the Power Star at the top of the level. There is a Gold Mushroom in the alcove under the spinwheel controlling the green cogs.
Super Gems
Three Super Gems can be found throughout the level.
- Super Gem 1: On a small area accessible by crossing the second orange cog from the starting point.
- Super Gem 2: On one side of the first orange cog across from the starting point.
- Super Gem 3: By taking a purple Warp Pipe guarded by some Walleyes, the player can access the underside of the stage, where the third Super Gem is given by Blue Toad.
Enemies
Pixel Toad
The Pixel Toad is on the bottom of the level, found by taking the pipe down and tilting the camera.
