Spike Eels appear only in underwater tropical levels, notably in World 7-1. They stay in holes and swim in Mario's way, not unlike [[Unagi]]s. They're almost invincible, only being defeated with a [[Star]]. Their tails are also spiked.

Spike Eels are enemies found in Super Mario 3D Land. They're purple colored eels with purple spikes in the back and big yellow spikes in the head, that slightly resemble hair. They have a big mouth, a white lip and a single sharp tooth.

Spike Eels appear only in underwater tropical levels, notably in World 7-1. They stay in holes and swim in Mario's way, not unlike Unagis. They're almost invincible, only being defeated with a Star and Fire Flower (But it takes a bunch of hits to defeat). Their tails are also spiked.
