A Slot Coin is a purple coin that can be collected when ? Panels turn purple that is exclusive on the Mario Hoops 3-on-3 stage, Jr. Street. Whenever any player collects one, the next time that player's team makes a shot, the slot machine will start, it will then either earn that team more points than usual, take points away from that team, or have no effect.
